byisk878yNice. Where do you buy games for Linux? I like to use GOG.com as I feel it is run by passion and it's Polish company so I'm proud of it.
Lots of additional stuff added to games such as wallpapers or soundtracks. So I feel like in 90s. Good old times when a game was delivered in a big box with some nice stuff inside. -
guss77168y@byisk, I like the concept of GOG, but they dropped the ball on Linux integration - on an up to date OS their games rarely run out of the box (I'm playing their EotB distribution) and it relies on old versions of libraries that are not packaged with the game and no longer exist on my system. Compare with Steam that also relies on ancient circa-2012 software setup, but at least that package the whole "runtime stack" with their client.
Which brings me to GOG galaxy, which still isn't available for Linux, more than 2 years after they promised a cross platform client.
I prefer Steam, humble or buying from indi producers directly.

That's it. From now on I won't pay a penny for the game if it has no Linux port. No exceptions.
