Russia removes windows from all government computers to "show that they're serious about cybersecurity"....

They remove windows mainly because they want to adopt Russian software. Guess that's because Russia and USA aren't excactly best friends.

And if you set windows up correctly it's perfectly secure so I don't think that's their main reason. ^^

I dont think they need to show anything, they have also develop their own CPU's without questionable features like vpro. And yeah windows is virus.
