Hazarth95094y@Root the dev/tester hate memes are just as strange to me as the addiction to StackOverflow memes.
I don't like either of them. A good dev doesn't need SO and they don't fight with testers unless the bugs are out of specs, and even then It's not the testers you talk to but the SM or PO to check first and then you get back with info to the testers.
In the end its team effort that moves projects, not ego -
Simply question to the tester haters out there :: Are your user stories written in a form that's actually testable ? Push back on your POs to provide meaningful acceptance criteria!

Ezard19604yTesters finding bugs means clients not finding bugs, which means clients don't rage (as much), which means my life is more chill
We have our first proper tester starting in a few weeks and I can't wait :) -
Also, a good tester knows when to file a "feature enhancement" for better usability versus a true "bug".

keeganwitt34yIt's understandable if you're in a toxic org and your boss is gonna shit down your neck if too many bugs get put into Jira I guess.
Remember, it's not the customer that matters, it's that the boss's report looks pretty for his boss.
I am the dev 😂😂
