lastNick5774y2nd evening in Hungary and this beer was not the best choice but it’s not bad either.
-
lastNick5774yI only see beer cans in other countries while I’m used to glass (returnable) bottles in Germany and Austria. Even German beer that is sold only in glass bottles in Germany is available in cans abroad. Some of these beers are license brewed in foreign countries so they use the packaging that is common there.
PS The deposit on beer cans and plastic bottles in Germany is higher than on reusable glass bottles (25-50ct for cans and plastic bottles, 7-8ct for reusable glass bottles) -
@lastNick IMO the best you can get here is Staropramen, or Dreher if you want something local. I'm particularly fond of Dreher hidegkomlós, which I won't even try to translate.

lastNick5774y@Lor-inc Staropramen is Czech but I try to find Hungarian beer. I will try a Dreher next.

Dude that black beer is danger in a can! You will be on a one way trip to never never land heh

@rooter Since I had just one I can only say it's quite good (though not my favorite style). But I can see what you mean since it really didn't taste like >=10%...
As for the one in the background: Quite meh. Drinkable but in a watery way. Had worse. -
@rooter It's Jupiler, a very commercial Belgian beer.
I don't really like most German beers, even though I am a German. From those I mostly prefer alcohol free wheat beers. For Pilsner Radeberger is quite okay.
Quick! Mods are asleep! Post pictures of your saturday-evening beer!
