Can't fucking stand my tiny desk!!! It's only 23" x 45" (approx 58cm x 114cm)

I can hardly fit my mouse, keyboard, and laptop on the damn thing let alone an external monitor.

The only reason I can't get a larger desk is that we don't have any goddamn room for a decent sized work station in this shitty 800sqft apartment.

but luckily for me, I get the privilege and blessing to live in california! So this fabulous 800sqft; in all it's hickory-smoked horse taint glory costs over 2K a month in rent. Golly-Gee I sure am glad to be getting raked over the coals every month. IT FEELS FANTASTIC!!! /s

    At first I just wanted to bitch about my desk, but the reason I'm pissed about the size of my desk goes a bit deeper... needed to pull out the old 'failing startup company' trick and

    Could something like this work?
    https://amazon.com.au/dp/...

    I'm almost at the point I need a 3rd screen for WFH but don't have the space.

    @C0D4 Unfortunately, it's a matter of me being a spoiled little twat (first world problems) wanting to use my 27" monitor 😅as my main display

    @zymk I get that.
    I'm missing my 3rd monitor setup I have at the office.
    This laptop + 24inch monitor just ain't cutting it after 4 months of isolation.

    In eastern europe were renting 2 desk spots in 1000 sqft hub space for our startup and what we pay is 200 euro a month in total. Everyrhing included lol.

    @Nanos oof! yeah that'd be tough. Where do you put your bed?

    @Nanos looks like you're really living up to your name

    I would be more worried about your square feet.

    @Nanos what year are those photos from? 1990? Is that a surround sound system positioned on the same wall?

    @Nanos one thing about CRTs I don't long for is the high pitch whining noise. I'll probably one day get tinnitus to emulate the experience, want it or not.

    @Nanos I've had an lcd that made an annoying sound but it went away if the brightness was set to either of two specific values. Those were the only options for me once I figured that out.

    I also as a kid was able to tell if the tv was on muted from another room. I think I first noticed the sound as I was wondering why the sound disappeared if I moved one step in the adjacent room.
