Sadly, by the time I worked at NASA, most of the exciting stuff was past tense.

@SortOfTested I think nowadays more of their work is just distributing the US's aerospace budget between the most capable private corps.

I mean, we did a ton of work and planning and simulation, but manufacturing, totally.

Mostly subcontractors and getting raytheon to do as much of the manufacturing as possible with meth addicts who give you creepy looks as you make your way across the production floor to the office elevators.
