I gave several of you fellow ranters a little gift of "mass ++" tonight and I bet you're wondering why. I'm new to this rant and everyone has been very kind and open. Anyone that commented or ++ any of my rants received a "serial liking." @Letmecode is still my favorite ranter =)

Intetesting how one person suddenly makes such a huge impact on the community just by some positivity.

Its like a clip I was forced to watch one day. A guy just starts laughing uncontrollably on the subway. Few minutes later the whole cart is laughing.

@yarwest I meant that giving a lot of ++ doesn't mess with the algorithm.
As long as the ranter upvoting the other ranter actually liked the content.

@FMashiro yeah no that's true. it is a problem in my opinion if they are just blind upvotes (all content getting upvoted instead of content that deserves it).
Not necessarily because of the algorithm but the upvote will lose its meaning.

(disclaimer: i'm not saying @Gia85 does that or that everyone's content sucks)

I agree with you. I am only going to be ++ a few more profiles that I didn't get to complete last night or that I accidentally overlooked. It's not going to be an everyday thing. =) @yarwest

I came across a "Report Gia" for spam rant last night which included some pretty harsh words. Tbh, I wasn't even sure if I was going to come back to devRant again but here I am, I guess. @FMashiro

I hope that by now you have noticed that we aren't all jerks.

I also don't mean it as in 'you cant upvote' or anything, just people making a big deal out of it makes me scratch my head.

I'm not sure, I can't find it today. So hopefully that means it's been taken down. I'm not a fan of drama and I try to avoid conflict as much as I can. @Letmecode
