Lua has pretty good online documentation and lots of examples and tutorials.

We usually do help out but a simple search would have given the answer in the first two hits.

Also, you do not provide any example to your question or explanation on why you think its hard to place the end statement.

If your going to rant, at least explain a little more detail, thats the point here, we want to sympathize with your complaint :)

But we need a bit more to do so and to expand on your complaint with our own stories :)

That way its at least entertaining.

But a complaint without any context is hard to appreciate unless its very obvious like comcast (needs no extra context)

I'm programming for TTS using Lua. It's decent. What's your problem exactly?

You’re angry at a programming language ONLY if you’re trying to do something wrong, for example if you try to write imperative code in css which is a declarative language.

On an unrelated note, PHP is not a programming language

Do not blame a language for you not even looking at examples.

Lua has its quirks and specific use cases. When used in the right environment it is awesome.

Someone said Lua and it summoned me.

Strange that your complaint isn't about tables starting at 1.

The syntax is probably the best part of Lua, so this is definitely a first.

Also, they go in the same positions as closing brackets. Their position should be familiar to you.
