The worst thing of being a dev is that you can never enjoy things at face value anymore. If only I could play games without counting in my head how many objects are ticking too often .etc :(

Yeah but sometimes you just to switch off, you know? Look at everything with a naïve viewpoint, not feel the need to deconstruct everything .etc. I mean don't get me wrong, there's plenty of times I enjoy doing it but sometimes after s long day you want to kick back, relax and not stress over replicating cool things you notice other people have done :/
