C0D4644185yYour building the email system, or are you sending the emails ๐คจ
Hopefully it's not the latter. -

Write a bot that writes the messages for you.
Or you can be in charge and delegate all the writing to other people. Maybe even outsource it? -

EDragon11185y@electrineer I don't get paid enough to outsource this crap.
I know I shouldn't be too mad at finally having a job but this just seems like an inefficient use of my time -

EDragon11185y@theKarlisK exactly! This only proves just how little my pay rate is! Doesn’t it!?
Yeah this sucks!! I don’t want to be an ungrateful a-hole but at the same time c’mon!!! -

Well, writing HTML for emails requires technical skills.
It CAN be reasonable dev job.
At least if it's not 100% one-off custom html but at least some templating.
As long as they don't expect you to write copy. -

Css and html in emails is hell though, its like IE5 I hear.
But that can be fun.
I saw a really cool talk on NordicJs a few years ago about how to build a function web shop in an email with mostly radioButtons, it’s on youtube - recommended

Landing your first developer job be like...
I'm curious, is email campaigns such as 'constant contact' part of a devs job? new job wants me to be in charge of this and I could not think of a worse job I would like to do.
I don't even check my own email!
I hate social media and suck at posting anything besides random useless memes.
REALLY??! Email campaign????
