psudo3408yAt home I use zsh with urxvt colored with solarized dark theme.
At work I mostly use putty, so white on black because I'm too lazy to go and regedit better colors onto all the different sessions I have saved. -
@psudo You could also install zsh on those servers (of possible ofc), there are some cool themes which are made to work well wirh putty.

And as far as I know, putty ignores remote colors, preferring to use its locals. If you've got a link I'd love to check it out. -

In not sure if it's in the default zsh theme collection.
It uses only ansi colors so it also works with Windows, and iirc in putty the colours worked fine too without any configuring.
