Please reduce the JPEG compression on images. If it's about storage. I have some spare ;)

    I should think that is beyond just storage. If you're on a slow network the images take too long to load and sometimes timeout.

    Perhaps if there's an option to chose lower quality images then the default can be set to higher quality images.

    @bb6xt surely the correct fix is test connection when you change connection to see how fast it is then serve the correct image

    Or if the image isn't loaded by 3 and Is say on 25% seconds cut to a smaller version ?

    What @bb6xt is important. Not only loading speed, but there's also battery considerations. Sometimes people complain that devRant uses a good amount of battery (even though it's very comparable to similar apps), and one of the main reasons I think that is is from a lot of image downloads all the time.

    So I think we would need to give the option and store multiple quality images.

    @dfox yes. And you should also have the thumbnails be lower quality and have higher quality when clicked into.
