Why such keyboards with large jump (hihgh keys) are so popular? They are so loud while typing. Also they're dust collectors (key sides) which is hard to cleanup.

@Artemix well i did try a few of this kind of keyboards and ended up with low profile keyboards, like the mac one. Couldn't type fast on those enormous keybs!

@AnianZ Brown, i have another keyboard (Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2013) but i cannot code with it. It needs to much force and it's to loud. Nice for gaming, but not coding.

@mort On the non-mech site, the apple keyboard is IMHO by far the best.

@Artemix If you were to buy on a budget, you could settle for the Cherry MX 3.0 series. I contemplated buying a keyboard beyond the 100€ range, then chose Cherry MX 3.0 Blue (65€) and never looked back. You may even find used one on the Internet for as low as 30€.

If only DAS keyboards were programmable...
