If you're interested C# supports them (to a certain extent) and is similar to Java.

Although, in general if you're using unsafe code in C# you're probably doing it wrong :)

Whenever I feel like I'm fighting a framework/language to get it to do something I always stop, take a step back, and examine my tools. There's a good chance I'm either using a tool wrong, or using the wrong tool altogether.
