    sounds pretty nice, i mean, the only case in which not doing anything is fully awesome is when you're waiting on someone else. enjoy.

    I take my time to learn other topics in CS that I haven't specialized in, or look into the architecture of the language, and see if there's any open source I can contribute to

    @Midnight-shcode It's not always good, recoding the design especially when there are drastic changes can be a pain to implement. Data is easy to manipulate but add up animations, transitions, and etc. It can be a pain in the neck.

    @HirogaKatageri oh...
    oooh...

    that changes everything.
    in 2008 i dropped a project because client: "do you have this (pixel-perfect for all browsers), heavily picture-based (think travian-like webgame) layout done?"

    me: Do I have the final assets for the layout from you?

    client: Use the placeholder ones for now.

    me: so... you want me to do a pixel-perfect all-browser layout with placeholder images, and then when you supply final artwork, if any piece of it is even a pixel different in size, you expect me to do it all again then, while our contract states that programming work starts when all the art assets were supplied?

    client (who claimed to be a web programmer himself) : what's the problem?

    me: that this contract is over, good bye.
