    So what if you're a web dev? Read up on what you need and get started.

    Make it html5 😏

    We are devs, don't let your lack of knowledge prevent you from building it.

    WebAssembly FTW?

    No idea what I'm talking about here. But it might just do the job!

    Your a dev with a specialization, so ...

    If you have any experience with javascript you are still a developer and learning for example c# should not be to hard, or java, or just take the js to node.

    I started with basic and if I had let that limit my choices I would not be where I am :)

    You know you can create games that run on browsers right? Whether it's using P5.js, WASM, Three.js, Unity...
    And that also, your skills are transferrable to game dev (C# + Unity, C++ + Unreal Engine, Python + Pygame)? Even if you don't have a CS/SE degree.

    I'm a web dev and I'm currently building a chess robot. No stopping me, so why should there be anything stopping you?

    @rooter Sweden is nice.

    If you get out of the big cities there are lots of nature to walk in, and you don’t even need to get so far out, you could get there by commuter train.

    And if you really like the solitude you can either try to find a place on an island or in the woods in northern Sweden and have several kilometers of uninterrupted nature :)
