I had 5 round of detailed technical interviews on java, springboot, React and Google Cloud.

Finally it seems they are going to make me an offer.
Last conversation was with the team I should work with.

They use dot.net, AWS and maybe maybe some angular.

I wann cry.
I'll say yes anyway.
Maybe the idea is to get some new perspective from me?
Or they want to be sure they will be better than me?

Or otherwise, fuck them?

Do you have other options? I would go with it, if they are willing to train you/give you a chance to learn a different stack its prolly cuz they think you are good enough at yo own shit and can crosstrain to something else if you want to.

I try to look at this shit on the positive side, of shit is good and pays well and the environment is legit then why not?

They shower you with shit in the interview, hoping you'll be so relieved when they reveal that you'll be actually using decent technology you'll accept a crap offer. It's just a way of low balling you!

@willcandy learning new shit is never a waste of time.

I have barely ever used Common Lisp or Clojure(ok this one I did) at work, and knowing about this definitely helped
