I never had any issues with dbeaver, honestly love it relative to other tools in the market.
What’s the problem you are finding with it? -
C0D4669014yFuck me dead, now rants a calm and collect 🤦♂️
Let the anger out, that is the point here, LET THE FUCKING ANGER OUT 🥵
As for dbeaver, I didn't like it myself, I'm more of a heidisql kind of guy. -
@C0D4 I hate both Dbeaver and Heidisql.
I love Datagrip. But I fucking hate paying $10-20/month for one closed source tool.
So Heidisql it is. -
silidrone94y@junon Haha okay I was not fully sure, watch out for the next rant lol, I will write it 30 minutes ago :P

silidrone94y@rusty-python It has lots of bugs, I really can't say it on top of my head but they annoy me a lot when they occur. One I remember is: Suppose you have user table, and it has role_id foreign key to the roles table. When you click on a cell role_id, DBeaver opens up a Value tab, the roles records, and highlights the one that corresponds to the role_id cell you clicked. But if you click another role_id cell, it doesn't highlight the role well, you need to scroll (and it is pretty damn annoying when you have a lot of records), but when you click on another cell, say one of the user's name cell, and then again on another role_id cell, it highlights well, so it is definitely a bug. It has a lot of bugs like this.
If you ever decide to make a software, contact the DBeaver developer team and ask them what they did, then do everything exactly the opposite and I'm sure your software will be the most complete, beautiful, bug-free software in the world. Because I am convinced DBeaver is the most incomplete, ugliest
software full of bugs. And also, did these people ever actually use a database administration tool before they decided to make one? It seems like they haven't to me, otherwise it wouldn't be so user-unfriendly.
Note: I am writing this in my calmest, had I written it 30 minutes ago, you would have seen some ugly words.
