Fresh grinded coffee beans... A good manual coffee maker... (Yeah there are tons). Heaven. :)
I'll usually import coffee beans.
There are tons of different flavours depending on region, processing and brewing.
Getting them locally can be a PITA.... -
@IntrusionCM I'm delegating all coffee-related matters to him. He's the Italian, he likes owning that responsibility anyway :D I just get served coffee every once in a while and it's a great perk of the relationship haha

iiii90854y@junon he said "coffee maker", not "coffee grinder". Manual grinder is a simple concept, but a manual coffee maker is a huge variety of totally different things like an Aeropress, a v60 or a manually operated espresso machine. Even a cezve is formally a "manual coffee maker".

Sorry to disappoint you.
Nutrition science has stated that there is less caffeine in espresso than in coffee.
Resulting from less contact time, through higher pressure etc.
The taste though is usually more intense and fine than general coffee.
All these arguments are in stark contrast to coffee vending machines, which just multiply the amount of beans powder per cup. Thus, giving bad tummy to enthusiasts. -
jeeper58094y@junon being a wretched caffeine addict, I can attest that espresso just hit different sometimes

@iiii uff...
I have an Aero Press, a Chemex and an Vacuum coffee maker. These I use regularly, depending on how much coffee I want to make.
As a grinder I use a Porlex - I dislike the electric ones.
I still have an electric grinder lying round somewhere...
And an Senseo Switch for everyone who doesn't deserve good coffee. -
iiii90854y@IntrusionCM so much fancy stuff.
I just use a cup. I put grind coffee in a cup and fill it with boiling water. Feels ok to me 🤷♂️ -
Tonnoman6224yI'm Italian... A bit, at least with some rather Italian family. I have never visited them since starting to drink coffee now I'm interested

My mom bought my very Italian boyfriend an espresso maker for his birthday. He bought the best Italian espresso grounds he could find here in Germany, and we just had a cup at 10pm (our sleep schedules are fucked up).
I've had a lot of coffee and a lot of espresso in my life, but right now I feel like if I jumped hard enough I could fucking fly. I feel like bashing my head through my computer screen for no particular reason. I feel like I could divide by zero and be OK.
Holy shit you Italians are fucking crazy.
