What makes a great portfolio?

In my opinion the best portfolios I’ve seen all have these 3 things

- simple but creative design/layout

- 5 or 6 projects to showcase. These projects should be a variety more so than just showing 5 CRUD apps each with a different UI

- easy to locate contact info

Also, if you want to showcase your skills like what languages you know, don’t use that type of rating graphic like 4/5 stars. It’s cliche and arbitrary.
