Only part I disagree with is the book thing - it is certainly possibly to read a book within a week hell I've done it myself several times

I don't agree with it.
First, there are no argument what-so-ever why startups are bad. All i've read was someone complaining about other people's choices.
Second, I rather work in a startup that try to offer some workspace decency over a large, souless company where you are only a number and don't get acclaimed for what/who you are. I agree that the startup model has some flaws, but they try to work around it.
The only part I could agree on was when the author specify the work hours. If it's not my company, why would I have to work like if it was? -
@AngryDev I did too, but the whole thing is representative of the 10x engineer nonsense.
