Root797734y@Crismon I’ve found that being nice and helpful never ends well. You might care enough to spend your time, energy, and money to help others in need, but do not expect anything in return because it will not happen.
Every single time I have gone out of my way to help someone, I’ve been taken for granted, propositioned, pestered for more help, and/or screamed at for not doing more. I’ve rarely even heard a sincere “thank you.”
No. People suck, so if you’re nice you’ll just get shoved down and walked over.
Instead, do what’s best for you, and if you can, do what’s good for others at the same time. That will make you a better person than the vast majority out there. -
