Totally This. I called for this weeks ago. (Others too, probably before that)

I think (hope) it may be on the roadmap already.

My two main requests are this, and have the notifs for "+1'd your comment" and "mentioned you in a comment" lead to that actual comment.

No maybe, I like loaded notifications from devrant about my likes and +1'd's. :)

My solution: i disabled the android notifications for devrant, because i am opening it anyways everyday.

I love waking up to 50+ DevRant notification after my rant hits top of the week 😂 It's thrilling watching them all auto swipe away when I hit "Clear all" in the notification shade

They get grouped automatically on Android Nougat (LineageOS at least)

@Scrumplex I wold love to flash that on my LG Stylo 2 Plus but I would gravely miss the OEM Stylus features (and several others). Marshmallow it is. For now
