Also: a Bogon IP is a false or invalid IP address, unassigned by an IP registrar., like the 49 range ( 49.0.0.0/8 )

Things like 192.0.0.254 , 172.16.0.1, 169.254.0.0 and even 10.0.0.10 are private and as such are listed as bogon as they wouldn't exist in the public ip space.
