Playing Control when I'm in the mood (because it's such a tense game, by far not something that can be played casually); replaying Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn; I also keep coming back to Red Alert 3 (with the Shock Therapy mod on) and Portal 2 (some of the community chambers are cool IMO).

Control is a really good game, been playing that one as well. I also have been replaying Katana Zero, cuz I love pixelated stuff.

On some ocassions I would play rainbow six with my friends, but we all despise the community and only go there from time to time. Warzone is great as well, but it was becoming a space hog monster on each update and we all stopped on it after a while on pc and moved to console.

ON console I am currently playing pokemon games and botw to continue the Hero of the Wild's boko genocide

I can't quit playing World of Tanks Blitz ... just too much fun ...

Nothing special or weird about it, just tank driving fun.

Just set up a Windows XP VM so I can finally play the best space trade game ever: Freelancer.

    Apex Legends

@DirtEffect Freelancer remains my favorite space sim to date.

I've been playing a lot of Everspace 2, which is almost as good as Freelancer, I think.

    Settler 3 at the moment

Last game I played was dyson sphere - it’s resource management game like factorio but in space with multiple planets

I've not played games for a long while and now that I'm back I've picked up:
Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Apex Legends for when I want some FPS action

@vane i have been seeing this game pretty often in steam homepage. It is like factorio !? Wow..

@purist yeah you build and research components and the challenge is to transfer resources between planets. There are no aliens and stuff. No fighting element.

@purist I haven't played them all. I've spent most of my time in 5 and New Dawn, and I've played a little of 3 and 4. I think I like New Dawn the best (it's the same engine as in 5 and also a logical continuation to the story); whereas in 5 you can only get several tiers of weapons, in New Dawn you can get the same tiers and then upgrade each weapon with seemingly no upper limit (so theoretically you can get a pistol to do the same damage as a non-upgraded sniper rifle). New Dawn has tougher enemies though, so the point with the weapons is kind of warranted (still, 5 allowed you to do some rather stupid stuff like attaching a scope and a silencer to a machine gun and ending up not having to use another weapon at all).

@purist I overall like the mechanics in 5 and New Dawn very much - like staying stealthy is rewarded (and yet doesn't feel super slow and grind-y like it might in other games); there are quite a few ways to play - i.e. you can lure wild animals to cause chaos and distract enemies; you can have an AI companion watch your back, possibly tag enemies and revive you if you get hit, you can choose a sneaky stealthy strategy and take enemies down one by one or you can go all in if you want the action.

By the way I can't wait for 6 to come out - it seems really promising (even though all we've seen so far are cinematic trailers, so hardly any gameplay footage); just the fact that we have Giancarlo Esposito play the villain is quite a lot.

Besides the coding game the other one probably mainly is modded minecraft.

Some games i sometimes play are factorio and most recently dyson sphere program

@skylord > "Apex Legends for when I want some FPS action"

If you've played with someone and thought to yourself "OMG!..How is he missing!? Is he aiming by throwing the mouse against a wall!?" Yep, that was probably me. My Apex skills are ...um... not optimal.
