I consider it a red flag when a meeting invite is for Microsoft Teams.

Zoom is for lightweight meetings when you occasionally have meetings, For regular meetings, MS Teams is good.

Discord > Zoom > Some random small platform > Google Meet > Some intercompany custom solution > Actual phone call > FaceTime > Smoke signals > Microsoft Teams

I consider a red flag when it is NOT ms teams.

All others are garbage in my experiance.

Special mention for the "thingy" google. the most shities of them all.

I use MS Teams daily I can’t say it’s been an awful experience. I can’t say the same for the google equivalent though.

Only MS teams requires me to use a different browser on Linux (and my preferred browser is Firefox, nothing exotic).
When I have it working in browser quality is really good. After presenting it disables the camera. No one told me until the meeting was almost over😅.
