Fuck WFH. I'm so tired of kids yelling. people eating, fucking noises and people leaving their desks for hour, and sayigg I'm sorry I was speaking on mute. Fuck WFH. Everybody needs to get their asses back to the office, and actually do the damn work.

WFH only works if you have kickass passionate people who love their job with an ounce of responsibility.

    "WFH is here to stay!"

A bunch of single tech writers 'working' from the local park / their couch / bed / toilet.

    I miss the office, too.
I’m turning into such a recluse.

IMO it's not like WFH work when you have a passionate crew - it works when your crew has a decent place to work, sans distractions. Living in a house with enough space for a home office is super hard these days.

Fucking noises?! Damn, haven't checked those off yet. Your colleagues are clearly a bit too comfortable if that's going on in the background.

I'm sick of WFH too. I have ADHD and trying to work at the same desk that holds my gaming PC is utterly ruining my focus. Productivity took a huge nosedive when the office closed and I doubt I'll get it back until the office reopens.

@EmberQuill this is exactly what I'm talking about.

Used to love remote working, 2020 kind of fucked that, somehow it was better when it was an option.

Just got a new office and absolutely love it, turning up at silly o'clock each day and getting loads done. Give it a year and I'll probably hate it again.

I’m not sure I want to go back.
In previous jobs yeah, they were closer to home so the commute wasn’t so bad and used to have fun in the office with great people (we worked hard but it didn’t feel like work).
But now, the commuting is shit and there’s no office banter. People only speak when they need to and it’s always about work, there’s no personal bonding at all.
I may as well stay at home and have the radio on than commute to then sit in silence all day

@Ubbe lol, this is my problem most of the time, except it is coming from my end. Had all sorts of excitement... From stopping in the middle of my speech and having to chase the kid down the street to one of kiddos taking my mobile phone, and throwing it in the rocks while on a call.
