@LinusCDE at the moment it's just at the low level operating system level to prevent memory leaks. So it's not primetime for in rust written apps yet.

@LinusCDE still it's a good idea to learn rust in the next two years :)
As Linus Torvalds is a fan of rust and said he is optimistic that rust will play a bigger role in the linux kernel in the future. -

@heyheni oh, Linus has changed his mind? Last I read he was quite skeptic yet... tho that was a year or two ago. If true, that’s fantastic indeed!

@100110111 He doesn't seem very enthusiastic but accepts the effort to get Rust module support into the kernel. I've read it might get into mainline Linux by next year.
