How big should an entry-level salary be? Like, that person's first job ever, but they have a pretty good 1 year experience being full-stack, though no degree

    Let's say East Europe or US

    @eo2875 that's not specific at all. You can earn 1.5-2x more in some cities than others because cost of living is that much higher.

    What he said.

    Money / Loan is not transparent.

    If you can give someone a verbal blowjob, chances are very high you'll start in a higher range.

    @eo2875 Seriously? In some parts of eastern Europe you'd be beyond lucky to get €20k. In some parts of the US you'd be shafted if you got less than $100k.

    Even in the same country and area it varies massively. In the UK, some places an hour or so away from London would be paying £20k ish entry level. Move to London and that can easily double, no questions asked.

    You really need to be *very* specific when asking about pay.

    Entirely depends where.

    Also, good looking assertive guys tend to get paid more. Play that part while interviewing if you can. Didn’t work for me.

    Alright I'll take New York or Minsk, I think those two are far apart enough

    If most of it is location, how do remote jobs work then? 🤔

    @eo2875

    They just pay you the lesser of where you live and where the company is located
