Updooting someone's rants until you scroll down and realize they're the same person who said a moronic thing you have already downdooted in the past.
Then contemplating if you should take all the updoots back. 😐

I try to upvote or downvote based on the quality of an individual rant or comment.

I see my up-/down-votes as an agreement or disagreement with a particular opinion, not a judgment of a person as a whole.

(There would be a few exceptions to this, as with every rule.)

@YADU I sometimes updoot comments I disagree with if they bring up a new interesting point of view or are otherwise helpful
