@masterdoctor your like count makes me giggle... XD
Anyways, I hate java, because it is much too oop... Why do I need to make a class for the main funct??? Just WHY??? Im a pascal guy, but as I am programming a compiler, I code assembly...
Ot, and I also code scratch: I am building a startup busyness with scratch (not) -
hexc11198y@calmyourtities I work with Java a lot but there are so many things that piss me off with it. No operator overloading is probably my most hated part of it.
-
hexc11198y@TheInitializer It's actually stupid, images you want to do some math with Vectors, Matrices, or Quaternions. You can't just do "a + b" you have to do "a.add(b)". Now imagen your doing complex calculations that require many different operations. Not only do you have really ugly code, you also have to manually make sure there are no issues with your order of operations. 😠

@hexc ikr.
I love Python libraries like pydub that make heavy use of operator overloading. It makes the library functions seem so native. -
@linuxer4fun Sorry, what was that? Your screenshot seems to have blinded me and given me a permanent migraine.
