I’ve had one cancelled on me, they said they’re altering the requirements slightly and reposting the ad. They did and nothing changed. Lying assholes. I had every experience listed but a few obscure shit hardly anyone uses

@NoMad it doesn’t hurt, I’m sure he’ll be fine. Hiring is broken in development, lots of competent developers get rejected, and lots of shitty ones get hired. I’m sure this whole devrant board wouldn’t exist if not for bad developers who can’t do shit. I remember one “dev” mentioned here who didn’t know how to use “if” and “else” which is....SCARY

What sucks is that recruiters aren’t technical bc I doubt most people who have tech chops would want to become recruiters. It’s boring and pays a lot less
