Wordpress.
In my opinion you have to be a psychopath to actually like learning WP at all.
It makes me wanna jump off the closest bridge, taking a header.

    - Was a Linux user for about 5 years.
    - Had to do a bit of WP for work.
    - Saw the plugin ecosystem.
    - Got extreme windows freeware shit vibes again

I ended up mostly just putting JS code in HTML blocks, because plugins where horrible or overpriced and I didn't want to deal with making my own plugins.

yes. My first job was on a wp project. The project sucked big time, and it was insane. Thank god the project died only a couple of months later and i was moved to another project.

The WP dev experience feels outdated. Tried learning it for a prior job and I couldn't stop fuming through the whole flywheel/phpstorm/butthole toolset I had to use. I asked my pm to put me on anything else not wp related. Best he could come up with was putting me on a headless wp project with gatsby. I was happier for a minute till I got laid off along with many others. Anyways, that was the last time I'll ever touch it. Fuck that noise.
