I think they should start from not lying about notifications. Usually when I go check the notification, there isn't one.

LinkedIn is the ultimate circle jerk. Everyone selling something to everyone else. People posting the most intimate details of their lives for a handful of likes. It’s everything that went wrong with the WWW wrapped up in one neat little example. Avoid.

It's a common tactic... If people login to check one message they tend to stay on the site.
Lots of companies do that, from Facebook to small companies. -
mundo0349114yWell, I use LinkedIn for trolling and hating.
I think it is funny people need to stay professional, so when you tell them they ate wrong or joke about some part of their post, they can't really tell you to go fuck yourself.
And I think that is beautiful.
I have made a few friends like that, and had about 2 confrontations in the last 3 years.
I have to say people have become more entitled and "positive thinking" (which is stupid and biased), and those are normally traits of female recruiters or any administrative position
Anyway, now I don't have LinkedIn on my phone because I loose too much time trolling dumb people. -
Awlex177454y@mundo03 Based. Almost sad to see that you could turn this into an (unpaid) profession, given how easily people take the bait 😔

mundo0349114y@Awlex I could start a youtube chanel about pissing people off.
Maybe a patreon too.

LinkedIn, if you have the nerves to send me an email, how about you also have some guts and tell me what that "notification" is about. Not that I care in the first place, but generally whenever I see the notification after logging in, I would think the same every time: That was a waste of time to read, even if it was in the email subject.
Like I care about some recruiter and his PHP shit when I've clearly stated as technology I want to avoid, have been deployed for 2 years and am using the tools I prefer.
I also don't care if I appeared in a search.
"Holy fuck, you appeared in that shitshow of a companies shithead recruiter. You better start celebrating like you won the fucking lottery and put your hips in a submissive position like a good boy"
"Thank you for using linkedIn, have you considered giving us money?" - automated bot of linkedIn stuff every now and then.
Is there some kind of fetish I'm missing that makes this an enjoyable or endurable experience?
