Turned my windows on after some time and it started installing the last 7 months of updates and shit

Has forced update tag but hasn't updated in 7 months..........

From my Ubuntu experience - 7 months of updates will result in a warm "grub grub grub" welcome message.

LOL, you poor thing. Your computer is ensuring you have everything patched and up to date and you're complaining. You must be an absolute joy to be around.

@Jop- Change the setting or don't use the home edition.

This is one thing i get so frustrated seeing. There is a setting to turn forced updates off. I have it set so i can choose what to update.

Pleas tell me where. All I was able to find was to stop updates completely and I don't want to do that.

And when I was shutting down it didn't give me the options:

Update & shutdown
Just shutdown

So i didn't know there were updates available.

@Jop- you can do a simple regedit i believe. I have pro so not sure

@Jop- Home edition is for everyone, including your Grandparents who never update their computers, so it's keeping them safe.
