Has anyone here tried Sailfish OS? I'm actually pretty impressed by it. It feels like a true mobile version of Linux without all the privacy issues of Android (Google) and the freedom you don't get with iOS. I think it looks pretty great too.

If you have tried it, what do you think?

I tried to get it on my 2012 Nexus 7, but it didn't want to boot for me, even when using the TWRP image. I was excited to try, but I didn't get the chance.

I was using Jolla phone for 2 years, the OS is nice and getting better all the time. The problem with that phone was it's bad hw specs. I later also got a Jolla tablet and with 2GB RAM the OS is super smooth.
Getting myself a Jolla c (Soon ™? ) and it should have something like good enough specs for Sailfish OS.

But due to the lack of native apps I have installed Google Play Services on all my SFOS devices... 😩
