@Nanos
the lead dev was saying that they are gonna hire me with a very high chance with a very big smile (friendly teasing).
+ he was always talking like "The job that YOU are going to do", "The school that YOU are going to visit" etc.
(In most other interviews they were talking in a general form, if it was uncertain or a no.)
+ we kinda forgot that this was an interview and kept talking about our hobbies for more than 70% of the time
Therefore, I am definitely sure that they are going to hire me. -

I've had interviews like that.
Sadly didn't mean I got the job.
Fingers crossed for you though.

TheEnd6102yWay to go! I once had a coding interview where they asked me if I built my own PCs (this was years ago). I replied yes, and then was asked about the components I used. I thought this was ideal chit-chat until I was hired and later found out that the question was part of the interview. They wanted people that were interested in technology, not just coding. Also found out that my last build at the time used the same motherboard as the interviewer had used for his - got me bonus points!

Not to be that guy... But I'm going to be that guy...
I remember I had a really great conversation with the manager and the team. It was awesome. I really thought I did well.
1 week later, I find out that they decided to hire someone internally. I'm still a little sour about it because I'm just like, what was the point of bringing me in for an interview if you're just going to hire internally anyways. -

I think it is because in the old days, they would just hire who they wanted.
These days, they have to be seen to be fair, and interview loads of folk, before picking the one person they had already decided up.
I learned that the hard way when I found out someone else had been given the job, before my interview !
Another time, the head of a department took me out to lunch and said I was just what they was looking for, but when it came to hiring, they was outvoted, because the company ran a 3 vote system, and the other two people ( One from HR, and one random member of staff. ) voted for the other person without 35 years experience. ( They had 0.. )
One difference between them and I, was, they invited all the voters beforehand to their parties.
So, to get on in life, make sure you have lots of parties, and invite folk who might get you a job in the future ! -

Another update:
Same company came back at me after rejecting me and told me that they want me.
This time I rejected them.
Idk feels kinda great.
I AM SO FUCKING HAPPY!
Just had an interview and it went fucking awesome!
At some point we just talked about games like Cyberpunk and Minecraft with the developers.
Can't wait to work there!
