Fucking video ad starts playing in the middle of the page/article

I used Adblock for shit website that is filled with popups, viruses and many download link/button.

You go to google
You google anti adblock block
You click the first github link
You follow instruction
...
You feel happy and safe

That usually prompts an effort touse Adblock to remove the begging overlay. If I can't get that to work, I leave.

My whitelist has exactly zero sites on it, and I'm not about to make an exception for yours.

@vhoyer it would be a pain on the ass to manually tel the adblocker what to block for every site... But it would br a 1 tome setup per site.. awesome tailored experience.. it kind of makes sense

@mundo03 because, like, you consume information/blog posts/video for free, the only think that is asked to you is to watch/see that damn ad, that's why I don't wanna have adblock by default, I want to support the people I consume products from, but there are some sites that are nasty haha xD

I've switched to uMatrix. After you get hold of it you can block whatever you want in a website (cookies, scripts,frames,plugins, etc.) and store your preferences or make temporary exceptions. You need some knowledge to use it, it's not for the average user but here on devrant I think we are not the "average users"
