    Still using 5.3-5.6, depending on the server. Is there any compelling reason to jump to 7?

    @Kaji huge performance boost, security fixes and very little (probably none at all) changes to make to your current codebase. What's not to love?

    @Kaji it's faster and the resource usage like memory is so much smaller. can get away with lower end servers that would struggle under load with 5.6

    @robzombie111 but PHP 7 introduced backwards incompatible breaking stuff, so a new minor version seems inappropriate. Also, all them new features in PHP. Gotta love 'em
