The fact that Dev C++ editor has SO many preferences kills my will to code sometimes, not going to lie

    You don't need all those preferences. Just write the code.

    @iiii Pros don't write code. Instead, they rather spend years learning the editor - see the vi(m) and Emacs crowd.

    @Fast-Nop exactly, find the right preference setting and the editor writes the code for you :P

    @Voxera That's what Word is for. Typing down requirements, outsourcing the task to some cheap Indians, and getting back professional code - at least, that's how management thinks it works.

    Dev C++? That takes me back. When I was in college both teachers and students would shit talk about that IDE. Most common thing to hear about it was "Dev C++ would even compile a rock."
