Got thousands of pet projects partially completed because nobody is actually interested in collaborating and I'm too lazy to do them all the way alone.

Oh I feel you.. I've got the same issue, perhaps it's us not them?

Had to spend time away from work to better appreciate the level of love that goes into these other projects. And hopefully some of them will be useful too! 😄

If they're only partially complete, it means you don't really want it. I actually complete all my projects (as long as I'm motivated and find them useful)
