    Yeah, but only because they think they know how the user interface should look like. Heck, why did they even hired the designer in the first place, if they know everything so well and reject every design-proposal cause they would do it different...

    I care about the look, feel and comfort of my car. What motor drives the electric windows, or what wattage the window heaters are - I don't care :)

    Yeah, only the visible input and output matters. No matter how awesome your architecture is, the clients will never appreciate it. But the other devs will :)
