Microsoft: Here's are simple to use Office suite which works offline and online with powerful features.

Google: Our suite is FREE. FREE. FREE. It's shitty, broken, and works only online.
If you want to use it offline, you can go fuck yourself. But hey! It's free.

I use Notion, which is based on markdown. Most science people and students I know love it. I think both Microsoft and Google docs ought to die a slow death and make room for modern shit.
