I am using @LucaScorpion 's api. I am not sure I ever heard anything like that from foxinator. Because they are using token based auth now, I think it might be okay to use it. Again, not sure.

I don't know how did you draw that GUI in Java Swing, good luck.

@strang3quark it will be built with JavaFX. Also, it's just a sketch. Not prototype.

@No-one he encourages read. Not write though. I made a wrapper for both read and write, he was okay with it existing but didn't want to promote it due to security concerns with people needing to authenticate outside of devRant.

@Dacexi maybe I should check with him again and remove my WPF/C# API from github.... I actually reverse engineered a lot more...

Of course if it becomes an issue he could immediately break it by making the API non public...

@allanx2000 as stated. I have already talked with him and he's okay with it.

Showing API code is fine as long as it's not strictly just an API that encourages the creation of apps that write. Ex. anything that writes should be an open source app. We can promote those for personal use, but we've just not added wrappers that write to the project page because we don't want to encourage anyone to make a non-open source app with any write APIs (except the Windows app) since it's a security risk for people using it to steal accounts.

But if it's just an open source app that the user has to download from GitHub and everyone sees the code then that's fine.
