It's so beyond a comparison: there are no competition and race conditions whatsoever unlike in a bunch of other forums. And Twitter is Twitter, it's out of this world (in bad terms).

I think it’s because the community is small and you make yourself known quicker. Probably because of it being dev related. The chance of some post being relevant to someone here is much higher than on Twitter since Twitter is a general place where people talk about just about anything.
So here, people tend to notice stuff more and are more likely to comment or offer opinions. (Also thanks to the Algo.) -

I don't think micro-blogging works and It's making people use a lot of charged words to be more expressive, but leaves no space for context -
Considering we don't allow bots that makes a huge difference. A lot of twitter is shitty bots.
I feel like Devrant is much better than twitter.
Way better community engagement here.
