Slack.

A product which I hated in the beginning, is something that I have started admiring now.

Like Telegram, things just kept improving without bloating the shit out of the product.

What's interesting is that they came up with Huddle, an instant call and connect feature where they support Audio and Screen sharing.

Totally a game changer and a Zoom killer because Zoom could be even better in terms of UX.

Functionally, hands down, Zoom is flawless but slowly it's becoming an overkill.

I am excitedly waiting to see how both of these compete because Slack surely has an upper hand in this game.

    Try Google Meet or Google Chat for a week, and you will like Slack like never before.

    @divinedragon
    Hangouts
    Duo
    Meet
    Allo
    Chat

    All fucking serve the same purpose. Google can't focus and built a single app right.

    It seems like they just show off to the world that they have enough resources to do A/B/C/D/E/F testing at the scale of an entire product to see what works. Funnily, none do.

    Slack is actually an amazing product not just from a developer perspective but also from an overall perspective.

    @JustThat I am sceptical that Slack will be bloated sooner or later hence wanting to see how it evolves.

    @JustThat nightmare incoming.

    Huddle sounds like just voice chat. I don't see why it's special?

    On Slack when I want to move a discussion to voice I just /zoom and bam, a meeting anyone can join.

    I just hope Slack doesn't start killing these apps to promote their Huddle.
