my new PineTime smartwatch just arrived!

Wow, I was expecting this to cost hundreds, but it's cheap. Now the question is what can you use it for.

So far it's pretty great! Updated the firmware already, it's pretty well documented. It seems to be pretty durable - already knocked it into a few walls and got caught in the rain with it and it seems swell. Battery seems to be discharging at the expected rate. Honestly more every-day-driver-ready than the pinephone was when i got it a year ago. The only thing I need is an alarm and I can ditch my fitbit. I swear that subtle buzz on my wrist has gotten me up on time way more reliably than any other alarm clock feature or device ever has.

Is it programmable?

@Wisecrack you can choose what you run on it. It doesn't have much hw though, only bluetooth, accelerometer, vibration motor, and a heart rate monitor. You're not gonna do much other than checking the time and receiving phone's notifications with it. I think you can also skip songs playing on your phone.
