putnam9708y@itsdaniel0 i am trying to make a code in java that checks a string if it is inside the set of the regular expression. There are only a & b string, ex. ab, a*b*, a U b*,ab* U b, b*a* U a(b* U a*)*and etc.. And *, concatenation, and Union is the only operation.

@putnam I'm really not understanding. I've not worked with Java, but I imagined the regex concept to be similar 🤔
