Actually Android was based off of early versions of arm PDAs like the Sharp Zaurus product line.

The native OS, OESF, was shipped with every PDA but could easily be changed with a CF card and flash.

The custom roms were based on Debian, Gentoo, and OpenBSD. Eventually OPIE became Angstrom, and Angstrom became what Android is today.

Google saw the potential for an arm based smartphone with Angstrom but needed a better name for it, so they took over the Angstrom IP and forked it as Android.

other than that this sounds very dirty to me and i never had to use this for kernel building in the past... i feel i've missed so much in not working with low level languages

It's me!

Only palm pre and web os - before it was sold.
All other systems just rip off their great ideas.
Same with solaris that docker and other systems just ripped off.

Most innovative products comes unnoticed and as a result are fucked up by corporations who sells trash using great marketing.

Palm pre got all things you have in modern smartphones but they had it 10 years ago. Fucking corporate morons can suck my balls.

@melezorus34 I probably opened the rant first to read Linux's comment, pressed home button, and went on to do bunch of other stuff. After a couple of hours I came back and replied so that the old messages weren't reloaded (see timestamps) and that's why the ++ counts are different.
