Been waiting for pur internet to get set up for a while now. We've finallu beem connected. Initially we thought we'd be stuck on a ADSL2+ connection with a max possible download speed of 20Mbps. Then we found out we could get cable through a different ISP, so we went with that. We were expecting a decent downloas but not this... this is just great!

    I don't see the problem? 40mbit down isn't bad?

    @Dacexi I didn't say its bad. I was trying to say that I was not expecting it to be so good. I am from Australia, you might have heard about our internet haha.

    In a few different areas I used to live in the speeds I'd have were around 0.5MB/s. The place before this one I'd get about 2-3MB/s at best.

    @Bacontaskmaster

    I have excellent power here in Belgium 😀. At least as long as i am willing to pay their overpriced fees.

    @Tvercruysse you still have data caps on home internet though. Like the hell is up with that?

    But australia has power issues, now you know why the internet sucks there xD

    @Bacontaskmaster you don't want to know how many phone calls i have made to my ISP about being on smallband while having "unlimited data" these phone workers are always the target of my wrath, even tho i know they have no say in the matter, I'd still like to tell them how they are lying to their costumers with fake statements

    @Bacontaskmaster speeds are fine 200/20 down/up atm and in a week they are going to bump up the network ( atleast that's what they emailed me ).It's the damn CAP that i cant live with .. 500gb/month between 8and 12 is to little!

    @Tvercruysse if you host any kind of server or file service even to yourself it is a horrible limit. It was worse a few years back though.
    I got used to 50/50 mbits with 10ms or less ping to anywhere in europe. So i am kind of spoiled
